The Optimal Allocation of Distributed Generators Considering Fault Current and Levelized Cost of Energy Using the Particle Swarm Optimization Method

The power requirements of grids have risen as artificial intelligence and electric vehicle technologies been used. Thus, the installation distributed generators (DGs) has become an essential factor to streamline grids. objective this study is optimize capacity location DGs. For purpose, function was defined, which takes into account fault current levelized cost energy, a modified particle swarm optimization method applied. Then, we analyzed case single line-to-ground with test feeder (i.e., IEEE 30 bus system) no DGs connected, well where are optimally connected. effect allocated on system analyzed.
